GGBC – THE EXPERIENCE
GGBC is a five day long musical exploration of all aspects of playing the bass.
Classes cover:
Classical music: orchestral and solo playing,
Jazz: improvisation, walking bass lines, rhythm section playing ,
Latin: Salsa, Timba, Tango.
Electric Bass: right and left hand technique, slapping/popping, groove playing, improvisation, pedals/looping
Participants play in small ensembles, the large Bass Orchestra, and receive private lessons during the week.
Tuition for the week: $750
Golden Gate Bass Camp is presented by the Northern California Chamber Music Academy (NCCMA).
